Digital Global Pass: what tech does it use to process payments?

To design its payment services, Digital Global Pass has leveraged the direct operator billing infrastructure. This has made it possible for unbanked and underbanked customers to pay online. However, how is the actual settlement process completed? Through Payforit and Header Enrichment.

Let’s first talk about Payforit. This is a pre-defined set of regulations that firms offering phone bill payment services have to abide to. It should be noted that only companies meeting the requirements of several heavily regulated scheme rules can use it. These are updated on a regular basis according to experts’ recommendations. As such, buyers will have the opportunity to purchase products in a safe and controlled manner.

This allows for the implementation of Header Enrichment. This means that when your device is connected to a 3G or 4G network, your mobile carrier is going to ‘enrich’ its request. At the same time, it will safely and anonymously validate your identity, that is, it will confirm that it is actually you who is trying to process the transaction. As such, you do not have to manually enter your phone number, which reduces the risks of mistakes occurring and shortens the time taken to complete the payment process. This is a definite advantage.

New technologies enhance the payment process
