called SMS+ and Internet+ and they have been designed using an innovative
technology called direct operator billing. This means that they do not work
like other services.
Traditional settlement services are offered in banks and
similar financial institutions. This means that to pay online, you need a
credit card, a debit card or some form of banking information. These will be
used to complete and validate the payment. Now, this is a problem for some
customers since they are unbanked and underbanked. Thus, they cannot pay
online. Thanks to Digital Global Pass’s innovativeness, this problem is now
solved.
So, what do you need to process a payment when using SMS+
and Internet+? They are phone bill
payment services. Your network service provider is going to complete the
transaction. Thus, to buy an item, you just need a mobile account. You also
need a device that is connected to the Internet. This can be a smartphone, a
tablet or a PC. After that, you just need to send text messages if you select
SMS+ or to click ‘confirm’ on your network service provider’s website in
case you opt for Internet+.
