Micropayments made easier for smartphone users

Processing micropayments has never been this easy for smartphone users. They just have to opt for the services offered by Digital Global Pass. It has designed two solutions. One of them is a mobile wallet, which is called SMS+.

It is different from other m-payment methods. How so? Well, traditional systems ask you to download applications on your smartphone. This complicates things and takes up a lot of your time. However, SMS+ does not work via apps. Instead, it is based on the direct operator billing infrastructure. This is a new payment tech that is a result of collaborations between mobile carriers, content developers and fintech firms. This means that you just need a mobile account and charges are then added to your phone bill.

What steps do you need to take to purchase an item via SMS+? After equipping yourself with a smartphone that is connected to the Web, you just have to send text messages. After that, you will receive a security code. This will be utilised for validation procedures. As such, you do not have to worry about the security of the transaction at all. There are no risks of accidental charges, nor the possibility of unauthorised users being able to buy an item on your behalf.
