Mobile operators are able to process payments nowadays

Years back, most, if not all financial services were related to banks. It was essential for a customer to be banked if they wanted to use digital payment facilities or online shopping solutions. Now, mobile operators are able to process settlements. This is thanks to new technologies that have emerged.

Indeed, the direct operator billing system has been introduced as a response to unbanked and underbanked customers being unable to conduct e-payments. The scenario was pretty clear: if you did not have a bank account, you could not shop online. This is because you did not have the necessary information needed to validate a transaction. Now, this problem is solved. Digital Global Pass collaborated with network service providers to allow even those who do not have a bank account, or simply those who do not wish to share their sensitive information on the Web, to pay online. Using SMS+ and Internet+, you can complete settlements via your mobile account. After selecting the item that you want to purchase, you have to validate the payment. This authentication method depends on the option that you have selected. Then, after making sure that everything is legitimate, your network service provider will add the charges to your mobile account.
