Digital Global Pass has designed two types of payment solutions. Granted that both
are them are micropayment services and they are based on the direct operator
billing infrastructure. They also let you purchase the same multimedia
products. However, the way they function is completely different.
One of them is a mobile
wallet. It is called SMS+. This is an innovative system in the sense that
it does not require you to download and install apps on your device. Not only
is this time-saving, but it also lets you save storage space on your smartphone.
So how does it work? This m-payment service functions through text messages.
You just have to send one to a specific number. Authentication procedures are
completed via a One-Time Password (OTP) that will be sent to you.
The other solution is called Internet+. This one will redirect
you to your network service provider’s website. Your mobile number will
be automatically detected. Thus you do not have to manually enter anything,
which decreases the risks of mistakes occurring. To complete a purchase, you
just have to click ‘confirm’ on the payment. This will validate the payment.
In both cases, charges are added to your phone bill at the
end of the month.
The payment services work differently
