Before innovative technologies were introduced, online payment services could be
accessed only by certain people. These services were as such that only a few
privileged people could enjoy them. For instance, only those with a bank
account could pay online since digital settlements required a credit or a debit
card. But what if a consumer does not have one? He would not have been able to benefit
from the same financial facilities as others. Now with new payment
infrastructure, things have changed.
Digital Global Pass is a fintech firm that has introduced settlement
solutions based on a new tech. These offer everyone an equal chance to process microtransactions. Called, SMS+ and
Internet+, they allow even unbanked and underbanked customers to purchase
multimedia products easily. This is because they are based on the direct
operator billing system. This infrastructure is an innovative one. It is
not linked to traditional institutions such as banks. Instead, it is a result of
collaborations with telecommunication companies. As such, online shoppers just
need a mobile account and a device which is connected to the Internet to
process transactions. When they purchase an item, their mobile carrier will
validate the settlement and will add the charges to their phone bill.
Online payment services can now be accessed by everyone
