When processing payments, Digital Global Pass uses the Payforit protocol. What is it and what
does this imply for customers?
First of all, it could be considered as a security feature

protocol, it is able to implement a technology called Header Enrichment.
When your device is connected to a 3G or 4G network, your mobile carrier is
going to ‘enrich’ its request. At the same time, it will safely and anonymously
validate your identity, that is, it will confirm that it is your phone number
trying to process the transaction. This means that you do not have to manually
enter your phone number. It is only after validation procedures have been
completed that you will be charged for the product bought.
