SMS+ and Internet+ are not linked to banks

Few years back, to pay online, you had to have a credit or debit card. Most e-payment services were provided by banks which meant that part of the population could not enjoy e-shopping facilities. Thankfully, thanks to developments in the technological sector, things have now changed. Payment methods like SMS+ and Internet+ have emerged, simplifying the process of buying on the Web.

These solutions are based on the direct operator billing system. Also called as carrier billing, the latter is a result of collaborations between network service providers, content developers and fintech firms. Banks are not involved at all. So how is the settlement processed? The payment will be completed by your telecommunication company. The firm is going to add charges of online acquisitions to phone bills at the end of the month.

As such, to buy an item, you need a mobile account and a device which is connected to the Internet. It can be a smartphone, tablet or PC. After that, you just have to choose between SMS+ and Internet+. The steps you need to take to complete the purchase will depend on the method that you opt for. You will either have to send text messages or to visit your network service provider’s website.

Both payment services are easy
